The club can confirm that this summer will see the addition of LED Floodlighting around the 1st XV Pitch.
After a lengthy planning consultation the decision was given in favour of allowing Rushden & Higham RUFC to start the process of installation.
This investment will allow the club to play rugby at more flexible times and improve the members Rugby Journey. As well as open up the opportunity for representative games to be played at the club; of all facets of the game. Along with this investment you will see some major pitch improvements take place, overseen by Twickenham itself. Thus allowing for a much improved game experience.
These are some very exciting times at Rushden & Higham RUFC and as more, new projects start to unfold, the picture will start to show that, The club has definitely got an eye on the future and improving standards across the board.
The support from the community has been fantastic for this project and with everybody’s continued support we will see the club evolve into something that everyone can be truly proud of.
